Here's how the Service works:
- Contact Covaris (Email: services@covarisinc.com) for pricing information and ordering procedure.
- Follow the protocol in the order form, ship DNA samples to Covaris.
- Covaris then processes the DNA samples according to the base-pair range specified by the customer, sheared DNA samples are returned to the customer, with electropherogram confirmation if needed, within 24 hours upon receiving the samples.

Extraction Services
Covaris offers an extraction service for sample preparation. The power and the
control of the Covaris technology are now readily accessible. Disruption of
plant and animal tissues is often the first step of sample preparation. The
subsequent extraction of individual biomolecules from complexes and aggregates
is often an uncontrolled, inefficient process. The proprietary Covaris extraction
technology improves recovery while also improving the yield.
Researchers and research institutions that do not have high sample volume may now access this value-added technology at a reduced cost and without a capital equipment expenditure. This technology is ideally suited for unparalleled control of metabolic profiling and proteomic studies.
As this is a custom service, the cost of the service will vary with the complexity of the specific project and application. After reviewing your project, we will provide customized solutions to fit your laboratory or processing needs and an itemized price quote. For example, we often provide Phase gated projects.

Phase Three. High volume. As unit volume scales, service fees may be applied toward a system purchase
Technical Information
The processing occurs in closed vessels. We are also able to provide processing in a biosafety hood.
Samples in a solid frozen or lyophilized format are preferable for shipment.
